While professional, interscholastic and the nightly street hockey games are a thing of yesteryear, the passion for the game of hockey still continues. So while most of us have lost a step, the joy of competition now goes hand in hand with sometimes sore bodies, a few more pounds and most definitely aging bodies. Perhaps a tad slower, the game is still hockey and for the 35+ player a place where “legends” come to shine.
The skill level in this league varies and each of the six teams that make up this fun league compete with both an “A” and “B” line creating a balance of play throughout the league and on each shift. The competition is fun but there is also a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and fair and safe play and this is stressed at all times.
This very popular league is full at this time, but there is always the possibility of adding teams or being called on as a substitute for a missing or tired body. Feel free to get on the "sub" and "wait" list to join this fun competitive yet recreational group.
