ABOUT LIA

The Laconia Ice Arena is a non-profit organization owned and operated by the Winnipesaukee Skating Club (WSC) Board of Directors.  This volunteer organization is dedicated to operating a state of the art facility and to providing the joy and benefits of skating to the citizens of the Lakes Region at the most competitive rates possible while maintaining the arena as a perpetual endowment to all those that enjoy the skating and its associated sports. Ways you can help

Volunteer

Volunteers Are Always Needed:

General office volunteers available during week day hours to assist with answering phones and light office work. Could include some writing, internet research or database projects depending on skill level and availability.

General volunteers to assist in concession stand and/or skate shop on weekends, 12:00PM – 4:30 pm.

MS Certified IT Professionals to assist network, server, workstation updating and problem solving.

Graphic Designers to assist with design of brochures and lobby display materials

Skating Instructors – must be able to skate at medium or advanced level and willing to learn how to teach skating to children. Volunteers needed for Sundays, …

Construction/Painting/Material – Needed to improve the facility now and during the off season.

 

Become a Member

Membership is open to any person making a financial contribution in such amount and at such intervals as determined by the Board of Directors. Members not only help sustain this non-profit facility but also have voting rights at the annual meeting and can influence the way the arena operates. The categories of members are described as follows:

Platinum Member:  Platinum Members are those who make a onetime contribution of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) or more to the WSC.

Gold Member:  Gold Members are those who make a contribution of one thousand dollars ($1000.00) or more to the WSC on an annual basis.

Silver Member:  Silver Members are those who make a contribution of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or more to the WSC on an annual basis.

Bronze Member: Bronze Members are those who make a contribution of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more to the WSC on an annual basis.
